Additional Forms Given to the Players for the Booster Club

Parents & Players PLEASE READ Information

 LIFT A THON is our one and only player fundraiser that we ask all players to participate in.  Ask family, friends and neighbors to sponsor the player according to their lifting abilities.  They can sponsor by the lb. or a flat rate.  The amount they raise (goal is $150 for all apparel) will then purchase them their PLAYER EXCLUSIVE CLOTHING.  We also acknowledge those who reach the extra lift requirements with an extra shirt.  Varsity and JV is the 800 and 1000lb. club and the 7,8 and 9th grade the “Bench my Weight” shirts.    Your player will do the weight requirements the nights of equipment pickup (First week in Aug. ) with the coaches in weight room and then return the pledges and money by Aug. 15th at practice times.

 

PLAYER INFORMATION SHEETS are in your packets and are to be filled out prior to this fall’s football season.  We are asking Everyone to fill out one and update their information and tell us how they want to be kept in contact for team schedules, events, game locations, apparel order forms, lift a thon information, summer workout schedules, and  updates from Booster Club and Coaches.  You may choose how you receive this information.  This information is vital right down to our banquet mail outs to our Jr. High shirts at the end.  Please fill them out and return to a booster  rep or coaches. You may also e-mail them or send them to the locations on the forms.  THANK YOU.

Physical Sheets and player sheets from the School District Athletic Office go to their school office prior to equipment pickup week, either the DAHS or DMS and the Booster sheets go to our locations listed on their sheets.

Lunches for Practice weeks will be again provided by our school cafeteria.  A full lunch is provided and an extra entrée can be eaten and paid for by the Boosters for your player or may bring their own lunch.

 PARENTS SUPPLEMENT PRACTICE LUNCHES. We are again asking parents/players to bring in extra food items during these practice days to supplement the morning before lunch.  Items needed are bananas, watermelon, grapes, apples, granola bars (no peanut butter please), cookies and brownies.  PLEASE BRING THE THEM TO THE CONCESSION STAND AT THE MIDDLE SCHOOL AT 8-8:30 AM FOR PREP AND DISTRIBUTION AT 11 TO EACH TEAM.  Parents are encouraged to come and help prep the food at the Middle School Concession Stand during the 1.5 weeks.  Call Betsy or text to help at 590-1482

PARENT MEETINGS MUST BE ATTENDED TO BY A PARENT OR THE PLAYER MUST STAY TO RECEIVE IMPORTANT YEARLY INFORMATION FOR BOOSTERS AND THE COACHES.

PARENT MEETING FOR 10-12th grade PLAYER ARE MONDAY AUG. 14TH 3:45PM and

FOR 7-9th grade PLAYERS ARE MONDAY AUG. 14th 4:30

PARENTS, BRING YOUR CALENDARS, IPads, Cell Phones or other devices with you to PARENT MEETING so you can sign up for (2 required) volunteer items  per player for the 2017 Football Season.   You are not asking you to work during your player’s game but you may choose to.  Items available are Concession Stand, 50/50, Friday night Inflate Helmet Help, Playoff Games (after regular season), Concession Prep, Concession Purchasing/Inventory, Friday Night Extra Halftime Concession Help, Away Game Pizza/Drink Delivery/Preparer.

If you don’t sign up that night, a call will follow to place you on the schedule.
